If doing makeup and hair is new to you and you don't know where to start, my suggestion would be to just do it.

Have a sleep over with friends where you can all mess around with each others hair. If you mess up just play it cool like you meant to do that. You can also use a sister or your mom or anyone with long hair! You can also use hair extensions to practice braiding.
